Promotional activities

A range of materials are available to help enhance your promotional activity and highlight to the potential visitor that you are keen to welcome those who wish to come and cycle in the Borders. Why not add some cycling copy and photographs to what you have already? If you are on, or nearby one of the cycling routes then mention this in your brochures and on your websites as this will attract the attention of those considering a trip on that route.

Free photography

A selection of free cycling photographs are available for you to download and use in your brochure and on your website.

Free website resources
Brighten up your website and highlight that you are keen to welcome cycling visitors by adding some free cycling web banners to your website. You can then link to Cycle Scottish Borders for further information on cycling routes in the area. By linking to the website you will also help improve search engine optimisation for cycling in the Scottish Borders and allow more opportunities for this website to be seen by potential visitors.

Think about adding your favourite cycling routes to your site, or even those of your visitors. Top tips such as local wildlife and nearby landmarks to look out for could also be  added on.

If you have not already done so, build an enquiry form to your website so you can help visitors find the information they need to plan a trip to the area.

Free promotional materials
There are two pull up banners with cycling images which can be used by toursim businesses at exhibitions or events.  Further information on how you can book these banners for your use can be found in the Brand Toolkit section.
