The Scottish Borders Business Excellence Awards

Scottish Borders Council (SBC) has announced the eight categories for the Business Excellence Awards 2012. These categories are intended to reflect the diversity of local businesses. The annual award ceremony is held to celebrate and showcase business success and entrepreneurial activity in the region.
The winners will be announced at an event on Friday 23 March at the Scottish Borders Campus in Galashiels and is expected to be attended by over 100 people comprised of the short-listed entrants, council members, sponsors, and local business support stakeholders.
SBC is keen to encourage people to review the criteria for each category which are available here and to think about applying if they qualify. For each category, a shortlist of three companies will be drawn up by the judging panels from all of the eligible entries. The panel for each award will be drawn from officials from SBC, Scottish Enterprise and Business Gateway, invited individuals from the relevant industry and other stakeholders.
